Healthy eating Policy
St. Conleth’s Infant School pursues a healthy eating policy each day throughout the school year.
The children eat their lunch in the classroom before going out to the yard to play.
Lunch time is 12.20 -12.30
For Health and Safety reasons, children are not allowed to share lunches. This is due to the fact that we have a number of children who have severe allergies to certain foods.
All lunch containers must be clearly labelled.
The children are allowed to bring in…
Sandwiches made from:
Bread, Bagels, Wraps, Baps, Rolls, Paninis, Ciabatta, Pittas, Crackers, Rice Cakes etc.
Scones, Fruitcake, buns etc.
Apples, Pears, Kiwis, Bananas, Strawberries, Oranges, Plums, Grapes, Blackberries, Pineapple, Peaches, Nectarines, Raspberries, Cherry Tomatoes, etc.
Raisins, Sultanas, Apricots, Banana Chips etc.
A funsize bar or biscuit is allowed on a Friday.
